As an avid cyclist, I understand the importance of upgrading our countries bike and pedestrian infrastructure. My bipartisan America Bikes Act will expand cycling infrastructure, improve rider safety, encourage domestic bicycle manufacturing, and reinstate tax incentives for bicycle commuting.

Thank you, Napa Sierra Club for bringing together community leaders, students, and friends from across our region for your 3rd Annual Regional Environmental Gathering. The Napa Sierra Club works tirelessly to expand bike paths, create affordable housing, and improve public transportation options.

Families are doing everything right but still falling behind as costs skyrocket. My American Affordability Act provides tax relief to lower energy bills, make housing more affordable, and bring down costs for healthcare, education and childcare.

Today is Election Day! The right to vote is one of the most sacred tools in our democracy, and I encourage every Californian to get out and make their voice heard!

Today the Supreme Court rightfully rejected a last-minute federal attempt to disrupt California's elections and disenfranchise voters.
I will continue fighting to protect our free and fair elections and your right to vote.

My bipartisan Revitalize Rural America Act has been endorsed by the cities of Clearlake, Woodland, and St. Helena, as well as Sonoma County, California Cattlemen Association, and the National Association of Rural Health Clinics.

Had a wonderful visit to Alta Heights Elementary School where I was able to speak to 4th and 5th graders about how our government works. Thank you to the staff members who helped arrange my visit and to the students who asked insightful questions.

Proud to join thirty-three of my colleagues in calling on the Federal Trade Commission to investigate reports that corporations have been misleading customers on the price of items, offering one price on the tag and another at checkout. This deceptive practice must end.
